Gavin Khoba hails from Aliwal-North in the Eastern Cape. This is the neigbouring town of Burgersdorp where Ferdinand grew up. Gavin worked as a gardener for quite a few years and according to Ferdinand he was born with the proverbial "green fingers".
He started working with Ferdinand recently and he is already showing the same caliber of workmanship in the pottery.
